Captiva Erosion Prevention District Board commissioners are elected by, qualified electors residing within the district.  District boundaries are coterminous with the boundaries of the Captiva Island Fire Control District.  Board commissioners are elected in the General Election of even numbered election years for a 2-year or 4-year term.  This is a non-partisan office.

A vacancy on the board shall be filled, by appointment, by the remaining board commissioners for the remainder of the unexpired term.

CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE MUST:

Appoint a campaign treasurer and designate a campaign depository.  The filing fee shall be paid with a check drawn on the campaign account [FS 106.11] and the candidate shall file periodic reports as required by

The East County Water Control Management District is a multi-county special district encompassing portions pf Hendry and Lee counties.  A candidate for the office of board supervisor, in Lee County , must qualify for office with the Lee County Supervisor of Elections, and must be a registered elector of the district, a portion thereof, which is included within the boundaries Lee County .

CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE MUST:
