Municipality Information

Candidates for municipal office or political committees solely supporting or opposing municipal candidates or issues must file campaign or organizational documents with their respective municipal clerk. Campaign or organizational documents include all candidate-qualifying forms, political committee registration forms, and campaign treasurer's reports.

However, candidates, who intend to qualify for municipal office by utilizing the candidate-petition method, must submit their petitions to the Main Office of the Lee County Supervisor of Elections for signature validation. Prior to obtaining any signatures on petitions, a municipal candidate must establish their campaign file with their respective municipal clerk or the Lee County Supervisor of Elections.
