Elementary Schools

Our staff provides a thirty-minute Voter Education Presentation and assists with the following: 

  • Career day
  • Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) 
  • IB Learner Profile
  • Mock election

Middle Schools

We also provide a 30 minutes Voter Education Presentation and conduct mock elections. Students have a hands-on experience of voting with the same election equipment used on Election Day:

  • DS-200 Tabulators
  • Ballots
  • Voting Booths
  • "I Voted" Stickers

Tours of the Elections Center

We cherish any opportunity for the students of Lee County to learn about the election process; therefore, we look forward to touring students around the Elections Center.

Summer Camps

Our staff actively collaborates with Summer Camps and Youth Services Groups from the Lee County Library, AFCAAM, Martial Arts University, Estero Recreation Center, and Veterans Park Recreational Center to conduct voter education presentations, mock elections, and other fun activities.

Student Government Association Elections (SGA)

We provide support to all Lee County High Schools, Colleges, and Universities in coordinating their Student Government Association (SGA) elections as needed.

Annual High School Voter Registration Challenge

We are determined to increase voter participation among Lee County’s youngest population. Thus, one of the most successful strategies has been the Annual High School Voter Registration Challenge. All High Schools in the Lee County School District are invited to participate in this annual challenge.

"Arts Vote" Contest

The Lee County Supervisor of Elections invites High School students to unleash their creativity by participating in our Annual "Arts Vote" Contest each year. The High School winner receives a $500 award to support their art department. The students whose entries win the "Best Artwork", "Most Original Artwork", and "Most Creative Artwork" categories receive a certificate of appreciation along with a gift card. Also, the winners receive significant coverage in our social media outlets and newsletter.
